...loving Betty Jackson & By Zoe

patent flat ankle boot by Betty Jackson

dark Jade ankle boots by Betty Jackson

fan tiered mini skirt By Zoe

I'm loving these black patent ankle boots with the Chanel inspired blocked off toe.  Love how they look with tights - just imagine how cute they would look with a pair of nice dark wash skinny jeans!

I've been attracted to patent & Jade green lately & thought these green peep toe ankle boots were a perfect dark Jade green!  Also like the look of all black with accents of light pink - very cute frilly mini & again with the black patent ankle boots...love!

info: Betty Jackson is a British Designer Fashion Label that was founded by Betty Jackson in 1981 & By ZoĆ© is a French line exclusive to http://www.my-wardrobe.com/womenswear which is where I found these pics.

... little "black & white house" in Florence

Loving the work of Italian architect Sabrina Bignami - founder of B-Arch Studio.

Fabulous!  This look is very clean & minimal, love the deep black!

Her actual home, i'll be posting in the near future, is a mix of different styles...modern & vintage with a more girly feel. Yes, definitely more of Sabrina Bignami coming to HABLAN de ELLA!

the photography of MIROSLAV TICHY

I love the way Czech photographer Miroslav Tichy captured the female form. Initially a painter, in the late 60's he began to photograph women who were lounging at public pools or sitting in cafe's - very "street style" of today. What's amazing is that his cameras were homemade. He used old cardboard tubes, thread spools, tin cans, rubber bands, childrens glasses & junk he'd find on the street. He had no darkroom & so would developed his negatives by moonlight - in a bucket.

He said that "the defects & ugliness were where the true art happened."

Brit Designer HOLLY FULTON

Holly Fulton's collection for Fashion East S/S 10

“References for the new collection included Eduardo Paolozzi, robotic stuff & what I'm calling art deco on crack - looking at the motifs & geometry with a heightened sense of colour & line...materials new to this collection — CRYSTALLIZED™ − Swarovski Elements have been fundamental, lots of luxurious leathers, hand enamelled metal, laser cut perspex & a dash of digital print. Key pieces include the Lovejoy jacket-its a bit Poiret & a bit 90's...the embodyment of the collection...is fully made from heat pressed crystal, laser cut perspex & architectural crystallised elements. The silhouette has a focus on short, sharp shapes which retain an easy, simple line to act as foil for surface work or as luxurious pieces in their own right.” - http://www.hollyfulton.com/

I say how fabulous are those envelope clutches, especially the one in the first pic! I'm obsessed with the art deco details, love the chunky necklaces - Holly was accessories designer for the Lanvin S/F '08 collection. & that jacket- it doesn't help that I love mustard yellow! Yes, I'll take that jacket to throw on over just about anything!
