goodbye 2012

. . . many good things happened this year, but we also had many unfortunate disasters & tragedies in the world.  a few of which i cannot seem to stop thinking about.

we don't have the answers but what i do know is that i can only continue to be thankful & to give thanks every moment i can. every moment that i remember to be thankful that is because hey, we are all imperfect & at times forget to appreciate our daily moments...even the bad ones.

well, i'm eager to start the new year...to continue to improve as a wife, daughter, sister, & friend. eager to continue becoming a better me to myself!

i say, tonight go out & find your bliss whether you are out & about or staying in....make a wish & know that you are blessed!

HAPPY new year!

very inspiring - enjoy!

The combination of glass & translucent photography creates a very powerful medium. Glass is a very modern material. It can also be a very cold material. Bringing a photographic translucency to it, even on a monumental scale, brings a warmth & humanism to design. Just as glass is transformed by photography, imagery is transformed by light. A translucent image has a visceral effect. - Amanda Weil.
